KfW funding for your EV Charger

Since 2023, there has been no funding for wallboxes at the federal level. However, there are still a few regional and local funding programs for the purchase and installation of a wallbox.

In some German federal states, there are funding programs for companies and private individuals to support the development of charging infrastructure. Some energy suppliers and municipalities also promote the switch to electromobility.

Before purchasing your EV charger, find out which funding options apply in your federal state/municipality and which requirements must be met to receive the funding.
