KNX – the international standard for building automation

KNX-certified cables
KNX-certified cables are specifically designed and tested for use in building automation systems based on the KNX standard. These cables ensure reliable transmission of control signals and data within a KNX installation.
Using KNX-certified cables guarantees optimal performance and correct operation of KNX-based automation systems. Proper cable selection and installation are crucial for system stability and reliability.
KNX bus data cables from SSB
Our KNX solution currently includes two cable types:
- 1 × 2 × 0.8 mm – single twisted pair, 5.80 mm outer diameter
- 2 × 2 × 0.8 mm – double twisted pair, 6.60 mm outer diameter
Both models are certified according to EN 50575 / CPR for building applications and have a Cca fire classification. In addition, the cables feature a halogen-free, flame-retardant LSZH sheath (Low Smoke Zero Halogen).
