Aircell 7- highly flexible, low loss & stray radiation safe Aircell®7 Data Download PDF Diameter: 7,3 mm Impedance: 50 Ohm Loss: @ 1 GHz/100 m 21,52 dB fmax: 6 GHz Aircell 7 is a highly flexible coaxial cable for the frequency range up to 6 GHz. The - in relation to the diameter - very low loss and the small bending radius of the cable makes it interesting and recommendable for many applications int he field of high frequency telecommunications. The relatively low loss of Aircell 7 is achieved by a low-loss PE-Compound Dielectricum (LLC) with a gas proportion of more than 70%. Furthermore, this material is humidity resistant. The inner conductor, a 19-core braid made of oxygen-lean copper, allows an extraordinary flexibility of the cable. For getting a good attenuation of shielding, the outer conductor of Aircell 7 a double-layer: On a thin, overlapping copper foil a Cu-braided screen is attached, covering 70%. The foil is PE-coated on the inner side and hence well protected against crack formation due to a too small bending radius. The black PVC outer cover of Aircell 7 is UV-stabilized. Aircell 7 is a modern coaxial cable for many applications within the field of telecommunications: It is flexible, has a low loss and is stray radiation safe. |
