After the HAM RADIO 2012 was a great success, it is time to resume the fair.

Impressive was the number of exhibitors and the large number of different issues

and opinions on the subjects shown. SSB-Electronic is no exception.

The focus of the show was on the topics "BluelineECO750" and "ZS-1."

The BluelineECO made by SSB Electronic is a 2m power amplifier with 750W

output power. It shows our plans for a new series of compact, smart power amplifiers

with more features, the so-called "n +1".

SSB Electronic would like to bring some fresh air into the landscape and show

that new components and wisely selected concepts can bring even more fun to your

hobby. We received numerous questions and an overwhelmingly positive feedback.

This shows us that we have taken the right path. Especially the compact construction

and operation via touch screen has been praised.

The illustrated TFT display, which clearly and simply allows the configuration of the

amplifier is, of course, replaced by another type, like many we exported. The viewing

angle was not optimal because units of the series batch did not arrive in time.

Basically, the heat management is not entirely trivial but the unit will operate reliably

in a temperature range of 0-50 ° C. We had quite the impression that this upper

temperature limit was almost reached due to the enormous heat of the lights and the

bright June weather in Friedrichshafen...

A second focus on our booth was certainly the theme of "direct sampling goes

transmitting". The continuous evolution of the components also ensures every

3-5 years for quantum jumps, which in turn produce more new products. This is also

shown the preliminary samples of the "ZS-1", which was named by its developer,

Mr. Alexandr Gomow, affectionately known as "Zeus-1". Mr. Gromov was available

at the booth of SSB-Electronic to answer questions.

We see the ZS-1 as a worthy successor of the Perseus. However, it is a fully digital

compact transceiver and has also a transmitting stage, which performs in the same

way, namely completely digitally, any modulations and outputs with 15W output power.

The ZS-1 will be available at the end of 2012 when SSB Electronic has started the

production and has gained the approvals for the EU.

The sale was picked up by SSB-Electronic again this year. The fair team decided

to offer the Perseus, Converter and co. again – with success! The leaflets,

bags and cups were also very welcome...

And after work we had fun. The EM and the wether was perfect so that we alle

could enjoy our stay.

All in all it was a successful and exciting exhibition for us. We took many

impressions from the direct contact with our customers with us.
